your mission is preparation. it is your school for eternity. you won't forget that, will you? this mission is not just a two year stretch. this is the time when you cultivate the seeds of godhood so that you can help other people on their way toward exaltation. how small are we who think of the mission as just being a stretch of time, somephysical things to do, a little studying to do, some praying. this is the most purposeful thing, perhaps, you have ever done in your life and possibly the most purposeful thing that some of you will ever do. it's up to you to let this be the prelude to your life, to let it be the beginning of a great and glorious life.
i have certainly come to agree that,we do not suddenly become what we do not participate in becoming.
now some of you may begin to wonder why such statement at this time of civic unrest but to be specific i'm off the hook of my political counterpart so, i'm neutral to my views.
where there is hatred,let me sow love. where there is injury, pardon. where there is doubt, faith . where there is despair, hope. where there is darkness, light. where there is sadness, joy. O Divine master, grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood, as to understand, to be loved, as to love, for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardonning that we are pardoned,and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
of late we hear about soo many funny stories going on about some of the world leaders and this sort of behaviour has the tendency of causing "worries". now , this's what i think: worry a little bit everyday and in a life time you will lose a couple of years. if something is wrong, fix it if you can. but train yourself not to worry. worry never fixes anything.
life is not what you want it to be,but what you make it. your ship has come in... but you've got to row out to meet it.
so my plea is that fix it.
